 Is this swim lessons?

No, we ask your child can swim one lap unassisted. If you are looking for swim lessons please take the great lessons Irondequoit Community Education offers at
 
Why Swim?
Swimming is not only fun, but is the best way to stay fit and healthy. Swimming is beneficial to the whole body.
 
How does my child join the Gators?
Every swimmer goes through a two week trial period to see if this is what you and your child would like to do. Come to one of the practice times to start their two week trial.
 
What does my child need to get in the pool?
A one piece suit, a cap and goggles
 
How do I know what level my swimmer is?
At the first few practices the coach will evaluate your swimmer asnd assign them to a practice level. 
 
What does the club cost?
Membership is for twelve months and includes at least three staffed practices per week, 48 weeks per year. The fees quoted below include your Club Membership and USA Swimming Membership (which is required and covers the club for insurance).
 
1st Swimmer in a Family:
$450 + refundable $50 participation point deposit * 
 
2nd Swimmer in a Family:
$400 + refundable $25 participation point deposit *
 
3rd Swimmer in a Family:
 $200 + refundable $25 participation point deposit *

What are participation point deposit?
The Swim Club is a parent run club so a participation point system was initiated. We need all parents to share their talent and time to assist with in Club events. As you volunteer points accumulate. Participation points can be earned by assisting at meets with timing, assisting at the pasta dinner, officials, even as a board member. Participation point deposit will be given back at the end of the accumulation of points.
